New Challenge at Exploring Cricut

Welcome to Monday and a new challenge at Exploring Cricut.  This challenge is called "Love Your Pet" You are to create a card, layout, or papercraft of your favorite pet and if you do not have a pet, no problem, just include any animal in your project.

I was going to do a 'pet' but I am constantly teasing one of my DT sisters about her use of Teddy Bear Parade.  I have not used it in a while and figured it was time....well my daughter did.  ;)  She has a birthday party to go to on Saturday.  What do 7 year old girls love? Mermaids of course.  So she decided this is what we needed to make.   So Michelle this one was for you!  LOL!

Paper:  SU and Coredinations

KISS Card 3 - Exploring Cricut Daily Post

Welcome back for day 3 of my KISS series and my daily post for Exploring Cricut.  If you are coming here for my daily post, I am doing a series this week of KISS, Keep It Simple Sistah!  I found a very cute and simple sketch on line this weekend (see Monday's post) and made 4 cards using the same sketch.

Today's card was for a friend at work who has been sick and I figured he needed a little pick me up.  Again, this was just a very simple card, but I thought she came out pretty cute.  She is even on an action wobble!

Come back tomorrow for the last card in my KISS series.

Sentiment:  My Pink Stamper (was get well wishes but I masked off w in wishes and drew in an f)
Cart:  Animal Kingdom (oldie but a goodie)

KISS - Keep It Simple Sistah - Card 1

Happy Monday - Hope you got some crafty time in this weekend.

I have been having a very hard time lately with sketches so I was surfing the web that would inspire me.  Now I have a 4 and 6 year old who every 5 minutes are calling Mommy for something that is the end of world to them, like they need more juice! ;)  Sometimes it is very hard for me to concentrate on something with multiple layers.  I found this (http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2013/02/case-this-sketch-challenge-15.html) and made 4 cards out of it.  They all came together pretty quick and I was able to get a card in before I heard Mommy between each!  ;)  The next three will be posted over the next few days.  Hope you stop back by.

Again, these were very simple, but I loved the simplicity of them.  Hope you do too!  ;)

Exploring

Happy Monday!  Today is a new challenge at Exploring Cricut called Be My Valentine.  You are to create a card, layout, or papercraft celebrating Valentine's Day.

Today I decided to make a pillow box to hold some Valentine Candy.  I made it a little bigger than I wanted to, but the receiver should will probably enjoy the extra candy!  LOL!

Daily Post Exploring Cricut

Happy Wednesday.  Time for another post for Exploring Cricut.   I have a very SIMPLE project today, but thought it could give someone a new idea.

Today I decided to do something different.  I have never played with welding bases together and wanted to and see if I could figure it out.

At my daughter's school one of the teachers needed various items for the prize box, including bookmarks.  As soon as I read that something clicked and I knew I could make some  These are done with her school colors, mascot, and letters of their school.  My daughter stole one as soon as she saw them.  Of course I let her have one, the one that I accidentally put the G on backwards!  ;)  Luckily she did not notice.

Paper:  Recollections and SU
Carts:  Lacy Labels, Base Camp and Life's a Beach
