Exploring Cricut - Back to School Challenge

Happy Monday!

Today for Exploring Cricut we are doing a Back to School challenge, create any project in Primary colors.

Today's 'project' is not a project per se as just cuts. Since I am on the PTO board for my daughter's school, we needed to decorate the bulletin boards. So glad I bought that Recess cart a few months ago. I knew I would get my use out of it eventually. All of these cuts, plus a few others, are all going up on the bulletin boards to greet the children tomorrow for their first day of school. I also added in a few rolo pencils that I will be giving out to the teachers. They were so fun to make and know I will be making more of those!

carts: Recess, Hello Kitty, Locker Talk
Paper: Recollections
Stamp Faces: All Peachy Keen

ETA: Here is the link for the tutorial for the rolo pencils that I used:

Exploring Cricut - Happy First Day of School

Happy Wednesday.

Today's project is again for the Welcome Back breakfast raffle the PTO is hosting for teachers at my daughter's school.

As my design sister has said, another project from Pinterest checked off! I have seen a bunch of these teacher survival kits and knew these would be perfect for the teacher's raffle. I think they are going to love it, especially the chocolate! ;)

Today's card was for a friend of my mother's. He and his wife are always sending little things for my kids. And I just wanted to let him know he was being thought of on his birthday.

Exploring Cricut Challenge - 2 cuts 1 monogram

Happy Monday

Today is a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. We were to create a project with a monogram and 2 cricut cuts. Well I was a bad girl and only did 1 cut. Don't tell Diane! ;) This was a project I needed to do so it worked out perfect.

I am the co-president of my daughters PTO for the upcoming year. We will be having a welcome back breakfast for the teachers. I wanted to do a few give aways for the teachers and saw this idea on Pinterest. CGS is the name of her school and the dolphin is their school mascot.

Items used:

Lights Camera Action

Happy Monday

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I was so happy to get some crafting time in and made 2 cards! :)

Today's card was for a lovely lady at work. She is going through cancer treatment, but took time out to show me how to work my camera better. I have this fancy camera but only use the auto setting! I am determined to be able to use my camera more to its full potential.
