Happy Birthday Idol!

Ever had to make a card for your idol? It is very intimidating, let me tell you. I stressed all week about this card. I made it for a friend whose cards are perfect! I finally told myself the thought is there and she will like whatever you make, even if there are flaws. So yes it is late, but I thought about her all week! :)

Aunt Banner

I am starting to get a little braver with entering challenges. The reason I started my blog were for the Dustin Pike challenges. Now I am venturing out to the next chapter. :)

This week Peachy Keen Stamps had a challenge for a banner. I have always wanted to try one but did not want to put in the effort, yes I was lazy. :) But with Mother's Day here, I thought this would be a perfect present for my aunt. (No I did not do one for my mother because my aunt appreciates these things SOOO much more than my mother and my mother will admit that.)

The princess represents my daughter and the tractor represents my son. The princess has Princess face and the tractor has Everyday Character.

Sorry for the bad pictures. I took these at night and could not get the colors to come out just right. But it looks so cute in person. I was very happy with the way this came out.

MIL and Step MIL cards

Another Mother's Day card. I made this card for my MIL and step MIL. No, they are not out in the mail yet. But I am always late with my cards! I am terrible. Even if they are late, the thought is still there, right? :)

I was trying to use my stash on this one. I had gotten the felt flowers from SU a while ago and have not used them. I think they added just the right touch.

Happy Mother's Day Aunt Betty

Here is a card I made for my aunt for Mother's Day. I made this flower eons ago. I wanted to use it and figured this was as good as anytime. I actually think it came out pretty cute. :)

Happy Mother's Day Mom

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there. My Dh and kids have a big surprise for me today. They are taking me somewhere. Not sure where, it's a surprise. But hoping to make a stop a Joann's today for the cricut cartridge sale. :)

Here is a the Mother's Day card I made for my mother. I had just gotten this die recently from Peachy Keen Stamps. My dd wanted to make this for her grammer because they like walking in the rain! :)

Aunt Betty

Today is 10 years since my uncle has died. He and my aunt were sould mates. They never had any children. Since I was little her and I have been close. I wanted to make this card to give her a little bit of comfort. I scraplifted the idea from one of the blogs follow, can't remember which one now. But it was my first shaped card. I have been having a hard time with them but finally realized what I was doing wrong and I can see myself doing more of these!

Cricut Card Fairy card

This is a card I made yesterday for the Cricut Card Fairy. It is for a 6 year old who fell off her bike and her face hit the cement. Poor thing. I hope this gives her a little bit of comfort.

Happy Spring

This is the first year we are in our home, also being the first spring. I was in awe when our wheeping cherry tree came out this week. It is so pretty. Wish it could stay like this all year long.

Just a quick simple card I made for Teacher Appreciation Day this week. My DD preschool teacher is wonderful. I am going to also include a gift card for Dunkin Donuts cause she loves her coffee! :)
