Princess Alligator

Today is my aunt's birthday. I asked my daughter several times what kind of card we should make her for her birthday. She kept saying a Princess Alligator. She never strayed from that. So I had the task of trying to create a princess alligator. I think she came out kinda cute! :) And I figured if alligators could be a princess, well she could be pink and purple! :)

Base: Just 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper folded and cut to size

Alligator: Create a Critter - Alligator all layers
Cuttlebug folder for texture (not sure of the name)

Green layer: Deco Tag from Gypsy Wanderings

Stamp: Wish Big from Emma at My Creative Time and PK Critter Pig eyes

Tule: Undercover piece cut from a old dancing costume of my niece ;)

ACY Card

Good Morning all. I have been loving getting all this time in the scraproom for the past few days. Creativity has really been flowing. Which is a good thing because my aunt's birthday is this weekend. My DD said we need to make her a princess alligator card. I better be feeling very creative for that kind of card! :)

Well on to today's card. I made this for my mother's good friend. She is suffering from cancer for the 4th time. She lives in CT but has had to go to TX for treatment. All of her family is here and she is alone. I feel so bad for her. So I wanted to send her card to let her know she is being thought of.

Cuts - A Child's Year and base is welded from Gypsy Wanderings

Paper: New stack I got at Js by Heidi Grace and SU

Stamp: My Creative Time by Emma along with the die

Twine: The Twinery

Butterflies: My NEW CM butterfly punch I have been waiting months for! :)

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge

This is my entry for Emma at My Creative Time's challenge. You needed to use any retired cartridge.

Well I bought Locker Talk a while ago on rewards and of course have only used it once, I think! :) Well with school starting, I figured this was a perfect time to bring it out. My dd is starting kindergarten and my son is going to preschool.

I was inspired by Ruthie from septemberninth.blogspot.com who made this wreath and I thought that would be perfect for both of my children's teachers. So glad I had a crop this past weekend, because I spent most of the day working on them. Would not have gotten it done with little people yelling Mommy every 5 minutes. :)

Now this is not completely done yet. I still have to stick everything down exactly where I want it, but I needed to get it in for the challenge which ends tonite. The white thing in the middle is a plastic bag. I had to lay it down and since it rained last night the picnic table was wet. Just pretend it is not there. :)

All cuts are from Locker Talk - Lettering is from Doodletype (I think)

Paper: SU and Recollections

Stamps: All PK - Wide Eyed kids, Happy Lashes and Princess Faces

Chalk, doodeling, liquid glass, brad for scissors

Thanks for looking

Ladybug Birthday

What a good feeling, the last few days I have had my creating groove! I am hoping this does not end for a while. :)

Made this same card for my boss's 6yr old granddaughter and my peep's mom's birthday. My peep always says when you make a card, make two of them, so I did. :) Just don't tell them they are getting the same card. The only thing different I did on the 6 yr old card was put a bobble head on for the head. Thought she would like that. :)

Sorry the picture is a little blurry, I was in a rush this morning.

Ladybug: All layers from Create a Critter

Paper: All SU

Twine: From the Twinery

Stamp: PK Princess Faces and Happy Birthday stamp on the inside from Emma

Chalk, doodling and stickles
