Exploring Cricut - Candy challenge

Happy Monday! Hope everyone got some crafting time in. It was my dd 5th birthday this weekend so I did not get in as much time as I wanted, but I guess she only turns 5 once. :)

For this week at Exploring Cricut we were supposed to use the candy from Celebrations. I don't have this cartridge so I used the candy from Christmas Cheer.

Cricut Challenge E week

Happy Friday! Is anyone going to get in any craft time this weekend. I have a few things to do, but going to be hard finding time this weekend. My dd 5th birthday is this weekend with her kid party on Saturday and Sunday we are going to the zoo as a family. Gotta find a little time in the craziness for some crafting to keep me sane! LOL!

Todays card is for my Cricut Challenge and this week was E. I used Everyday Paperdolls for this cute dog. This was for my kids babysitter's birthday. He was just too cute and first time I had ever used him. ;)

Exploring Cricut - Daily Project

Happy Hump Day!

Today is my DT project for Exploring Cricut. I really wanted to do something different for this card that I had never done before. I followed the petal card directions on splitcoast stampers (www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/petalcard ).

I will admit I have a hard time with figuring things out in paper crafting. :) What is right and left and top and bottom. I started following the 'word' directions and not the pictures. If I had followed the pictures I would not have had to do the card twice. :) But that is ok because I learned a lot about how to make this type of card.

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Good Tuesday all!

I made this card for an entry into Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. You needed to use an older cartridge with a card feature. This was the 2nd card I made for the D challenge on the cricut boards. The card and spider and layers are from Doodlecharms. I have not used that cartridge in a while and forgot about a lot of the fun things on there. Sorry about the glare of the action wobble in the picture. You can't see it normally, but the glare from the camera definately caught it. Just pretend it is not there. LOL!

Happy Boss's Day

Good Monday all and Happy Boss's Day. Wanted to create a nice card for my boss for today. She is the best, I could not ask for better. Went to go get her a balloon, but since the day was offically yesterday, no balloon was to be had today. Oh well, I think she liked her card.

Cricut Challenge D week

Happy Friday. Looking forward to some crafting time this weekend. Have a lot of projects that need to be done.

Well todays card has a dual purpose. I created this card for the D challenge on the cricut boards. And also for the Let's face it Friday on PK stamps. It is hard to see in the picture but I chalked orange and yellow on the red to make it look like a real fall leaf.

Happy Monday. Today is pretty exciting! I get to go back to work, which I am happy for! My husband personally is redoing our roof and I was on pick up duty. I probably picked up a ton of shingles! And today starts the challenge blog http://exploringcricut.blogspot.com/, which I am on the design team for. My first design team. :)

Since I don't have this cartridge yet, Diane sent me the cuts. I made this card for my husband's mother and step father's 25th anniversary.

It was exciting when they opened their monthly challenge to everyone.

Sympathy Card

Good Hump Day! Weekend is getting closer.

This is a sympathy card I made for a friend whose mother died. Bless her heart she was two months before her 100th birthday! About a week after she died I was able to spend 5 days with her at Disney. Hopefully that gave her a little comfort.

Mickey Gift Card holder

Happy Monday! Hope everyone got some crafty time in this weekend! ;)

My peep's birthday was last week. Due to the fact her and I were playing together down at Disney World, I was late with her card. :) I hope she was not too upset it was late. She is a Dunkin Donuts fan so I gave her a gift card for there along with an antenna topper that I got at the Contemporary hotel that says Peace Love Mickey which matched shirts she made for us. I went pretty basic because I just wanted to highlight Mickey and his colors.
