Aunt Banner

I am starting to get a little braver with entering challenges. The reason I started my blog were for the Dustin Pike challenges. Now I am venturing out to the next chapter. :)

This week Peachy Keen Stamps had a challenge for a banner. I have always wanted to try one but did not want to put in the effort, yes I was lazy. :) But with Mother's Day here, I thought this would be a perfect present for my aunt. (No I did not do one for my mother because my aunt appreciates these things SOOO much more than my mother and my mother will admit that.)

The princess represents my daughter and the tractor represents my son. The princess has Princess face and the tractor has Everyday Character.

Sorry for the bad pictures. I took these at night and could not get the colors to come out just right. But it looks so cute in person. I was very happy with the way this came out.

Great banner. I haven't tried one yet, like you I'm afraid it's too much effort.

I love your water jug flower card. Great layout for that. Did you make it on a cricut?

Stephanie - I used the pitcher from Country Life and my gypsy to make that shaped card.

Stephanie, try it! Yes it was a lot of work, but it was fun in the end. And my aunt LOVES it! :)
