Daily Project for Exploring Cricut
Hello and Happy Wednesday. What does Wednesday mean...it's my day for the daily post at Exploring Cricut! ;)
I have been pretty bad with doing cards lately, having too much fun with decorations for the house. And with the holiday season upon us, I have lots of ideas for new ones, including ones for presents. ;)
Today's project is for that little corner in my dining room that has had a Halloween banner, a Thanksgiving sign and it was looking pretty empty the past few days. Since it is starting to get pretty cold here in CT, it even snowed here today, I figured I would make a cute little snowman to go in that so lonely corner. He just brightens it right up! ;) I should note that this is about 10" inches tall, it was as big as I could make it on my mat. I wanted it nice and big!

EC - Count your Blessings
Happy Monday
Today is a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. This week our challenge is called "Count Your Blessings". You are to create a card, layout, or papercraft celebrating Thanksgiving. You can use any colors or cuts just as long as you use your Cricut and Cricut cartridges.
After I took down the Halloween banner I made, that space looked pretty empty. Figured I should do something for Thanksgiving. Especially since this was the only Thanksgiving decorations that made it out! EEK! ;)
I learned a lesson about this project today. After I made it, I saw a bunch of stuff that just bothered me. My ribbon was not even, my paper was not even. I had wanted to put a peachy keen stamp on my turkey but I made it too small. I was kinda feeling bumbed about the whole project. My 6 year old dd saw it and said "Mommy I love it". Everything just seemed perfected after that! ;)
Carts: Elegant Edges, Plantain Schoolbook and Create a Critter 2
Paper: DCWV, Coredinations
Ribbons, SU

Exploring Cricut - Daily Post
Happy Wednesday.
Today is my day again at Exploring Cricut.
I made another banner. I think I am going through a banner phase. ;) It is nice because they come together pretty quickly, but look so fancy!
I made this as a housewarming gift for my good friend's son. He was so excited about and kept wanting to hold it and drag it around the house. Good thing I used thing Stampin Up paper to make it with! HA

Exploring Cricut - Veteran's Day
Happy Monday. Today starts another challenge at Exploring Cricut. This week we are doing a Veteran's Day Theme. You are to create a card, layout, or papercraft using any cricut cartridge. This challenge ends on Saturday, November 10 at 10 PM eastern time.
Well I knew I had to use Stand and Salute. This card was my second choice. I started out by cutting a word cut. My cricut has never been a fan of cutting out words. She gets very temperamental and messes up all my cuts. So I had to go to a back up cut. So since she was so moody I figured I would go with a nice easy cut. ;)
Sorry for the bad picture. My camera is broken and my husband had to take the picture with his cell phone.
