My Craft Spot - It's Delicious

Happy Saturday. Today's card is for the challenge at My Craft Spot. We were to make something delicious. Well I love strawberries and I have not used perserves in a while, so it was a perfect combination.

Simply Crafts Challenge - Cupcake

Today's card is for the challenge at Simply Crafts. We were to use the cupcake with the heart on it from Sweet Treats. I made this card with no one in mind. After I made it I brought it to work to show my coworkers. Boss tell us it was her mother's 90th birthday so I had everyone sign it at work and had boss give it to her mother. Guess she got a big kick out of that! :)

Exploring Cricut - Daily Project

Happy Wednesday. Today is a card for my daily project at Exploring Cricut. I decided to make a snowmancard. I guess it just wishful thinking though. Being in CT we had one of the worst winters in a long time last year. I think in January alone we had over 50 inches of snow. So far this year, the only snow we had was in October. But I am not complaining, no shoveling! :)

First SVG

Happy Tuesday!

I have been busy crafting the past week, but have been very lazy about updating my blog. I may have to do a double post this week just to catch up.

This is my first SVG file with SCAL2. I bought this probably a year and a 1/2 ago and just could not get into it. I have been seeing a lot of cute SVG files out there lately so I dusted off SCAL and decided to try it again.

This is from the Valentine Bear Set from My Scrap Chick. Now since she is the first SVG I have cut in a while, I did not go crazy. This was just more practice. But I love how she came out.

See you back here tomorrow with my daily project for Exploring Cricut.

Exploring Cricut - Daily Project - Winter Frolic

Happy Tuesday. Is everyone excited about getting back to work and school today? I think I am. I do better when I have a 'schedule' to stick to.

Todays project is for Exploring Cricut. I owed Diane. :) I had missed two recent design team posts. I think the craziness of the holidays just got to me and I completely forgot! UGH! So since she decided to give me another chance and not kick me off the team, I told her I would take her spot in the daily challenge! :) Thanks Diane! :)

This card I just made for my stash, but I think I used the wrong stamp on it since I have not sent it out yet. Maybe I can send it out quick and have someone enjoy it! LOL!

Exploring Cricut - Winter Scene

Happy New Years to all. I think the holiday season just got the best of me and my blog suffered. But with the craziness of the holidays over I have a bunch of new cards designed on my gypsy waiting to be cut out. So I am back. :) Feels good to be crafty again.

Today's card is for Exploring Cricut. We needed to create a winter scene. With all the thank you cards I had to do, I figured the mailbox with a letter was perfect. Plus I got to use my Jolly Holidays cartridge that I just HAD to have. LOL!

Exploring Cricut - Daily Project - Jolly Holidays

Happy Wednesday. Sorry my post is late today. Just got back from 5 days at Disney so I am a little behind on things.

Today's card I was determined to use Jolly Holidays again. I just HAD to have this cart so I am going to get my use out of it. But these cuts are so small! :)

Birthday - CAC

Today's post is a birthday card. I made this card for a friend's 4 year old dd. I put a action wobble on the head and she loved playing with it! :)

Of course after I made it, I realized it was backwards! UGH! But I don't think she really minded. LOL!

Exploring Cricut - Sled challenge

The challenge this time at Exploring Cricut was to use a sled. Now since I just HAD to have Jolly Holidays and have not used it yet, I wanted to use the Santa in the sled. I think next time I will make this a little bit larger. Little bit of a pain so small. But once I got it together, I think it came out pretty cute. :) Looks even cuter in person because Santa is on an action wobble. ;)

Exploring Cricut - Daily Project and H Cartridge

Happy Wednesday.

Today's post has a dual purpose. I needed to do my daily project for Exploring Cricut and I wanted to do my H cartridge challenge to myself. I made a simple shape card from Hello Kitty. Of course my dd wants these now for her friends so I need to get back into the craft room and make more. :)

Gift Card Holder

Today's post was a gift card holder that I made for my nephew. He is 13 and does not care about anything fancy, no ribbon, no bling, no nothing. Only about the gift card inside! ;) So this was very quick and easy to do! :)

Paper: SU and baby boy stack (shhhh, don't tell him!) :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all get to enjoy time with special friends and family.

Today's project was made for DS and DD teachers as thanksgiving gifts. I used my new lollipop die from My Creative Time with Emma. Oh I am going to love this die. I can see myself using this a lot for quick little "thinking of you" type gifts.
